Brain injuries don't just happen to the person involved. No. Everyone and everything in the family is affected. This is a photo of Ears Flat Back aka Molly. Look how fat she's gotten since I have had her spayed. She is our front porch cat, clawing herself along my screened porches and back again until I feed her. . . and I have my twin sister to thank for this.
Truett comes home from Shands Rehab Hospital tomorrow.
He's ready.
I'm ready.
Mom and the puppies and Roger and Punky ( my cats) are ready.
Truett has been walking at rehab with me with my fingers crooked under his safety belt. But, I am afraid that when Truett comes home, his motorized scooter will replace his legs. Of course, I will encourage him to walk. I want him to walk again. Maybe his friends will encourage him to walk. Who knows?
Tomorrow is a big day for me and Mom and my dogs and my cats.
Tomorrow we get Truett home again.
Tomorrow is a "New Beginning".
Tomorrow I need all of Truett's friends to encourage him to be the BEST he can be!
