Our return to Fort White went pretty well considering we had to fly to Seattle on Alaska Arlines and switch to Delta for the flight to Atlanta, switch to a different flight number and then on to Jacksonville. We flew through the night so we only got snatches of sleep and we have been recuperating ever since.
Upon our arrival in Fort White we faced the lack of internet connection in the house (where I write my posts on this blog site), our Dish TV is not working and Clay's phone line is deader than a door nail. All of these problems are related to the storms last week.
I think I've been relative patient about not having access to my own computer; however, I'm chomping at the bit to write. Hence, it's Monday morning so I decided to blog from the studio, without posting photographs.(Oh, pooh!) Truett did talk with our computer guru and he will be out asap, the TV repairman is working diligently in the rain as I write and the phone company has the message that they need to come out as well. So life is looking upward.
It was great to see Mom, Merry Jennifer, Sam, Maddie and Oliver. As best as I can tell my family is anxious for me to blog. Punky and Roger have followed me all around the house and even slept on the bed with me this morning. That Punky is such a pretty kitty and I am able to pet him. It seems like forever when I thought I may never get my hands on that cat. So...I'm back and hopefully will share photos soon.
