Our Thanksgiving went very well with more than enough turkey, dressing, salads and desserts. Stuffed is the word for it. A couple friend of ours, Jim and Mary, had Thanksgiving dinner with us as well as family. They have been coming to our home for several years for Thanksgiving dinner and have a standing invitation.
Jim and Mary are both from West Tennessee, around Jackson, so being from Tennessee myself and having lived in West Tennessee during my childhood years, we are never lacking for conversation.
Today we took a long walk at the Ichetucknee State Park. It was in the mid 70's and a beatutiful day.
Just look how clear that water is.
Just think. Three more days until December and we still have fall colors and other sights at the park.
Jim and Mary have a dog named Duncan. A beautiful cocker-mix with the shiniest black fur.
Jim stuck this plant in Mary's hair so we could identify it upon returning home.
Mary, Jim and Duncan say good-bye.
Today was the kind of day I am truly thankful for..walking in nature with friends.
