Based on the title of this post, I suppose you are wondering if I'm going to show you photographs of my new tricked-up Harley Davidson and all my black leather gear, but you wondered wrong. This afternoon Truett said, "Come on. Let's take a little ride. I want to show you something."
We drove down the road and visited our friend, Jim. "Ah, you're here to see the pigs," he said. Sure enough. I saw his pigs, but I prefer to call them hogs.
This big guy was found by our friend, Jim. It seems he was sitting out in his woods eating chips and when he crumpled the chip bag, he heard a crashing through his woods. At the time, this was a small wild pig. So day after day the pig would come on his property, and pretty soon there were two wild pigs running toward the sound of crumpled chip bags. So Jim built a pen to house them in and has raised two little cute piglets to adult size.
This little pig grew up to be a big fat boar with tusks.
Well, Jim, the owner of the pigs, came out to feed his pets today...applesauce and corn. This boar weighs 500 pounds.
The other wild hog is a female..a sow. She doesn't weigh as much and generally is pushed around by the boar. He left his applesauce and darted straight to hers. What a pig!
That's all they eat. Applesauce and corn.
This is the sow eating her applesauce. Grunt. Grunt.
And that's how my afternoon went.
Interesting story and pictures.

What does Jim plan to do with these pigs, I mean hogs? Can you pet them? They look a little scary with their tusks.

He can pet them but, not around the tusks. They are PETS. Have you ever eaten a pet? I think not! I aked him what his plans were should they die. "Bury them/" he quickly said.
