Since it is only 56 degrees at 3:30 this afternoon and raining cats and dogs, I thought it would be an appropriate time to show you Clay's golf course. He calls it Squirrel Crest Golf Club, but I call it Golf-in-the-Rough Golf Club.
Clay has worked his fingers to the bone for Truett, clearing land and hauling garbage, etc. to earn the $77 each for greens for his golf course.
He has been after me to take photos of his golf course to show to the family. So here it is. Maddie and Oliver walked out to Squirrel Crest Golf Club on Sunday, but their little legs didn't hold up. They had more fun watching bull ants and squashing sandy mounder mounds.
By the way, Clay charges his friends $5 for nine holes (Yeah, right!), but said he wouldn't charge family to play on his golf course. So ya'll come on down and bring your clubs.
Sweet!

Will says, "Wow! How cool is that?!" I think he's going to bringing his clubs down!
I think it's way cool, too!
