Today, November 26, 2009, Thanksgiving, has been one big blur.
It all started when the first of the family members arrived.
Here's Oliver.
And here's Madeline in her turkey shirt.
And here is Sam, my grandchildren's father. Now just look at that. This man is such a great father that he is not ashamed to wear a turkey hat on Thanksgiving. Only a real man would do such a thing.
Soon after the family arrived, Clay decided to entertain Oliver with his remote controlled helicopter.
And that's the last photograph I took.
The rest is a blur. It is now 10:45 P.M. and the sink is still full of dirty dishes.
The Thanksgiving dinner was delicious.
The supper and conversation with our friends, Jim and Mary, has been entertaining; and Thanksgiving night is winding down.
I do thank God for family and friends...and so much more.
