Mom and I have enjoyed watching the Gray Catbird over the past couple of weeks.
One afternoon we were sitting on the front porch and I stopped the conversation and said, "Wait, Mom. I think I hear a kitten mewing."
Then we saw the Gray Catbird fly into the palm tree, and it's been eating at the birdfeeders since then.

Tonight we saw a Summer Tanager at the bird feeders. It flew away before I could take a photograph; but I did record it in my Weather Journal.
I feel fortunate to witness God's splendor.
That's a great photo of the catbird.
