Everyone, it seems, is anticipating the Fourth of July tomorrow.
As Truett and I drove through High Springs this morning, I was aware of American flags placed throughout the town.
My heart swelled and I felt proud to be an American.
In an hour or so, my sister and her family will arrive from Kentucky and our Fourth of July celebration will begin.
We will just sit around and talk.
Possibly float down the Ichetucknee if everyone is game.
And let's not forget . . . we'll be eating traditional Fourth of July food.
Happy Fourth of July everyone!
