the "days of my life"

As I read Facebook posts, I realize many of my friends are ex-students of mine.  In fact, I have since taught many of their children. 

 I feel so blessed to have these wonderful young adults comment on my Facebook page or on my blog.

I have a new group of friends on Facebook.  The younger crowd.  . .  and what this younger group of friends don't realize, is that they made me a better teacher because the state standards were higher, and I became more demanding with my writing curriculum . . .

. . .and the students performed.

Thank you for making my last "days of my teaching career so special." 

Those were the "days of my life" that I will never forget.
